classes include yoga, music and movement and are taught with the aim to help the wellbeing of children aged 4 to 12 years old.

Kids will stretch, breathe, play, dance, connect and explore their creativity through storytelling and magical adventures around the world whilst practising different animal and nature-related postures set to music, song, soundscapes and instrumental sounds.

Children will also learn to use their breath, relax and become more mindful and focused through a variety of fun but soothing activities and games.

About

is Joanna – a qualified Yoga Instructor for kids offering classes in London, Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area. She has worked with children for over 10 years as a school music teacher and has witnessed the wonderful therapeutic benefits of music for children of all ages. Her personal love of yoga and working with children led her to do 2 separate Kids Yoga teacher training courses; her first with Rainbow Kids Yoga in Ireland and subsequently her 95 hour training at Santhi Yoga in Trivandrum, India with the idea of combining the therapeutic elements of both yoga and music in her classes.

With the pressures and demands that children are presently faced with in both school and home life she strongly believes that yoga is a way in which children can let go and calm their minds, expressing themselves through exploration, imagination and creativity in a non-competitive, relaxed environment.

NB: Joanna is a fully qualified teacher with QTS. She holds a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, has had recent Paediatric First Aid training and is fully insured.
